Toronto Citizen
A live map of Toronto for getting out and meeting your neighbours.
What it does
- What's on near you: the City of Toronto's festivals, drop-in programs and library events, live TTC vehicles and Bike Share, on one map.
- Plans: neighbours post plans at public places ("sunset walk at Trinity Bellwoods, 7 PM") and others ask to join.
- Groups that form: say you're looking for people for coffee, food, games or an event tonight or tomorrow, and the app puts 4–6 people together at a public place. Everyone says yes first.
- Chatter and vibes for the neighbourhood.
Safety first
Anyone can look around. To post, message or find your people, you verify that you're an adult with a government ID. The photos are encrypted on your device, checked by a person, and deleted. We never show where any person is: only public places, and counts of five or more people per area.
